Terminally Ill Teen Marries High School Sweetheart In Dream Wedding

Leslie Rivera, a terminally ill 18-year-old, recently married her high school sweetheart in a dream wedding put together by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
When she was diagnosed with terminal leukemia back in April, there was only one thing the teen wanted and that was to wed boyfriend Daniel Mendez.
The couple met in October 2012 at an anti-racism club at school, and immediately hit it off. But within a few short months, Rivera was diagnosed.
Mendez has been a constant presence by her side during her fight with the disease, and Rivera was referred to Make-A-Wish shortly thereafter.
The foundation quickly got to work arranging Leslie's nuptials, even getting celebrity wedding planner David Tutera on board to make it unforgettable.
The ceremony took place on November 21 in Orange County, Calif.
Rivera was all smiles during the Twilight-inspired wedding reception, surrounded by friends and family who were equally moved by the group's efforts.
It was impossible to tell that the beaming teenager had spent the entire day before in the hospital getting a blood transfusion, according to reports.
Watch the video above for more on Rivera's dream wedding day, and the next time you're thinking of a charitable donation, think of Leslie and Batkid.
Dream really do come true thanks to these wonderful people.

Alyssa Pack Shares Goose-Kicking Video, Gets Arrested For Animal Cruelty

Alyssa Pack, a Florida woman, has been arrested and charged with animal cruelty after kicking geese in the face in a video that went viral on Facebook.
The video shows her happily booting several of the birds at a park while a child laughs in the background. Always good to set a positive example.
Police were tipped off and arrested her two days after the clip of her dancing and taunting a group of geese at Twin Hills Park in Crestview hit the web.
Another video shows the videographer egging Pack on, telling her to get closer to them. The birds posture aggressively as she flails her feet at their beaks.
Clearly she was doing it on purpose, and wanted it documented.
Pack also appears to say to the person filming her obnoxious behavior, "Did you get me kicking? I have now kicked all three of these geese in the face."
Now police have cooked her goose ... so to speak

O.J. Simpson: Possibly Khloe Kardashian's Father!!!

It's our favorite rumor on the Internet, and it's resurfaced once again thanks to In Touch Weekly:
Might O.J. Simpson be Khloe Kardashian's biological father?!?
This hilarious paternity question was first raised in January 2012 by The National Enquirer and now Simpson's manager, Norman Pardo, is telling In Touch that anything is possible.
The Juice totally could have knocked up Kris Jenner!
OJ as Khloe Kardashian's Father?
After all, Prado is certain Jenner "slept with" Simpson and says the truth is "going to come out sooner or later." And what truth is that, exactly?
"Khloe could be O.J.’s kid," Prado says.
Then again, of course, she could not be as well.
Prado adds that he's actually brought up this possibility with the inmate and O.J. "giggles" at the reference.
And also maybe because he's thinking back to the times he and late wife Nicole Brown spent with Jenner and then-husband Rob Kardashian in the 1980s, as the two couples often vacationed together and:
“There was a lot of partying going on," Prado says.
Could that have led to unprotected sex between Jenner and Simpson? Which eventually produced Khloe? Sure. Maybe!
Jenner is already on record as saying this allegation is an "absolute lie," while Khloe has had fun with it, saying of the chatter last year:
“I would hope if I’m half black and half white, I would be a little tanner!”

Obama Heckled By Protester During Speech on Immigration

President Barack Obama was heckled by a protester during his speech on Monday in San Francisco, and he tried to use the incident as a teachable moment.
An immigration reform activist began shouting for Obama to use executive orders to halt the deportation of America's undocumented immigrants.
"You have the power to stop deportations!" yelled the heckler.
Instead of allowing the Secret Service eject the activist, the Commander-in-Chief flipped the script instead and made a point about the limits of authority.
"Actually, I don't and that's why we're here," Obama replied.
Obama motioned for the Secret Service to let him stay, praising "the passion of these young people [who] feel deeply about the concerns of their families."
Then he tried to explain the position he's in as President.
"Now, what you need to know ... is that, in fact, if I could solve all these problems without passing laws in Congress, then I would do so," said Obama.
"But we're also a nation of laws. That's part of our tradition. And so the easy way out is to try to yell and pretend like I can do something by violating our laws."
"What I'm proposing is the harder path, which is to use our democratic processes to achieve the same goal that you want to achieve, but it won't be as easy as shouting."
"It requires us lobbying and getting it done."
Regardless of what you want the man to get done (or not get done), Obama makes a valid point about the political system and the need for real discourse.
If we all stopped heckling and started talking? Imagine ...

The late actor's death is believed to be heart related, although the Lincoln County coroner said Monday that a final cause of death is still pending.
A onetime regular on the Chicago improv comedy scene in the late '80s and early '90s, Leggett went on to appear on In Living Color for one season.
His other credits include Ally McBeal, Star Trek: Voyager, ER, Between Brothers, Spike TV's Factory, NYPD Blue and The Drew Carey Show.
He co-produced 2004's Employee of the Month, which starred Matt Damon and Christina Applegate, and he wrote the comedy Without a Paddle.
While Legget was living in L.A. at the time of his death, teaching improv, acting and writing, a piece of his heart always stayed in his hometown.
"He was doing what he loved," Mary Schlag, the manager of the Tomahawk Cinema told the Wausau Daily Herald after Leggett's tragic death.
"If there's any comfort in passing, that's it."
"He was doing something that he loved."
